The site looks pretentious and would probably confuse 90% of potential clients. IMO, this guy, along with a lot of "new age" web designers are forgetting the KISS methodology, which is a shame because there is obviously some real talent behind the design and code on this site.

Yuck, yuck yuck. Good idea but badly executed. This looks like I am reading a badly typed newspaper sitting on top of a pile of rubbish, that does happen at times when something catches my eye but its forgotten within seconds. This hurts my eye :(
Sorry. Gave a 2; 1 because you tried and 2 because it validates. Suggestion, relax on the background, I think you forgot the meaning of a web site and its content; not the background of a web site :)
